About us:
We are a small cageless Cattery and Ragdoll Breeder in Southeast Florida.
We are both a CFA and a TICA registered cattery “Cathissa” located in Southeast Florida, dedicated to breeding and showing traditional blue-eyed pointed Ragdolls. We began showing and breeding Persians in 1996 and American Shorthairs in 1999 producing many grand champions, and some national and regional winners. We decided to discontinue our Persian and American Shorthair breeding program. In early 2019 (after most our retired cats had passed over the rainbow bridge) we decided to pursue our love for the Ragdoll breed and began breeding and showing traditional Ragdolls.
Our goal is producing loving companion kittens with excellent health and exceptional bloodlines, keeping with the Ragdoll breed standard and temperament. This is achieved through selective breeding, dna testing, and showing our Ragdolls.
Our Kings and Queens are DNA tested negative for Ragdoll HCM gene as well as, DNA testing for Pkd1, PRA, MPS VI. Insuring we are producing the healthiest kittens possible.
Our kittens are raised in our home and imprinted from birth. They are part of our family and are around dogs and kids. They are loved and cared for in the highest regard and will only be placed into approved homes.
